Life after survival isn’t simple.

It's messy, emotional, and nothing like the leaflets prepare you for.

That’s exactly why I do what I do.

I understand there’s nothing simple about navigating life after surviving a serious illness, coma or intensive care.

You’ve made it through the hardest part, but now you’re left wondering why it still feels so damn hard. The world thinks you should be “better,” but inside you’re exhausted, uncertain, and trying to make sense of a life that doesn’t look or feel like it used to.

You’re probably spending hours trying to get your energy back, fight off brain fog, or figure out what “normal” even means anymore.

You might scroll for answers, bounce between appointments, or tell yourself you ‘should’ be grateful.

Yet you still feel stuck somewhere between who you were and who you’re becoming.

I know that place well, both professionally and personally.

It’s why I founded Krissy Pride Coaching, to give you the safe, supportive space that’s missing from the system, so you can rebuild your energy, identity, and confidence, and start living fully again.

Hi, I’m Krissy Pride, Recovery Specialist and Holistic Health Coach, Registered Nurse, and founder of Krissy Pride Coaching.

After years working in critical care, I’ve seen what it truly takes to recover from serious illness, not just to survive, but to find a way to live fully again on the other side. Too often, people reach around 60% of what they’re capable of and are told that’s as good as it gets. But I believe that surviving isn’t where the story ends, it’s where it begins.

When the medical interventions stop and rehab is over, you’re suddenly expected to “bounce back.” Yet so many people feel there’s something missing, a gap between hospital discharge and real life. Recovery can be long, lonely, and confusing, and that’s where my work begins.

Through my signature programme, Beyond 60%, I support survivors of intensive care, coma and serious illness to rebuild their energy, identity, and confidence so they can move on from just existing to truly living again. My approach combines the understanding of a clinician with the compassion and perspective of a coach, empowering you to take ownership of your next chapter in a way that feels personal, gentle, and real.

My mission is simple

to make recovery empowering and hopeful, not overwhelming and isolating..

My vision is for every person who’s lived through something life-changing to have access to the guidance, compassion, and tools they need to feel whole, capable, and hopeful again.

The Beyond 60% Pathway

Surviving was never meant to be the end of your story, it’s the beginning of your next chapter.

The Beyond 60% Pathway is my signature three-phase approach for life after serious  illness. It’s a blend of clinical understanding, compassionate coaching, and evidence-informed guidance that helps you move from surviving to truly living again.

It’s emotionally safe, empowering, and entirely centred around you. No medical hierarchy. No rigid protocols. Not another leaflet. Just the space, structure, and support you need to rebuild at your own pace, guided by someone who understands both sides of recovery.

Phase 1: Focus in

This is where we pause and take stock of what happened and where you are right now.. We’ll create safety, stability, and space for you to truly acknowledge what you’ve been through, physically, mentally, and emotionally. You’ll begin to understand and reconnect with your body, your energy, and sense of self, building the foundations for real recovery.

Phase 2: Focus out

Once you feel grounded, we move gently into rebuilding. Here, we focus on restoring your confidence, strengthening self-trust, and rediscovering your identity and goals. It’s about giving yourself permission to grow and to dream, at a pace that feels right, supported every step of the way.

Phase 3: focus foward

In this final phase, we look to the future. Together, we’ll let go of what no longer serves you, the fear, pressure, or expectations that have kept you stuck, and create space for new possibilities. This is where you start to live beyond 60% with your head held high,  a renewed sense of purpose, and freedom to define what your next chapter in your story looks like.

I passionately believe in the four guiding values that shape everything I do, from the way I listen, to the way I support, teach, and hold space for every person who’s rebuilding life after illness.

Values

1. Compassion First

Recovery is deeply personal, and no two journeys are the same. I lead with empathy, creating a space where you’re listened to without judgment and supported with care. Compassion guides every interaction, ensuring you always feel safe, seen, and understood.

2. Evidence-Informed Practice

My approach combines the science of health and behaviour change with the art of coaching. Drawing on my critical care background and professional health coach training, I bring credible, evidence informed tools that make real, sustainable progress possible, without bringing pressure or overwhelm.

4. Honesty and Humanity

I believe recovery should feel very real, not polished. I bring honesty, warmth, and humanity into every conversation, creating a relationship that feels genuine, grounded, and human, never clinical or detached. Because rebuilding your life should feel like life, not treatment.

3. Empowerment Through Partnership

You are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk beside you, to ask questions, offer insight, and help you find the answers that already exist within you. Every goal, every step, and every decision comes from you, not from a prescription or plan.
